Customer Satisfaction
Our customer is always #1. We treat our customers fairly by providing high-quality products and installation at affordable prices. Service after the sale is important to us. We want your business, but most importantly, we want you happy with your fence when the job is complete. After we install our fencing, we thoroughly inspect the project to ensure you have received the quality job you deserve.
Free Estimates
For most of our projects, we provide a free inspection of your property and give you a detailed estimate of the price of the fencing and the installation. However, for insurance claims for the repair or replacement of your already existing fence, we do charge a minimal fee of $35. If you choose Creative Fence Designs to make the repairs or replacement, we will gladly credit you back the $35 when the project is complete.
Before We Dig
Before we begin any project that requires digging, we call the Buried Cable Location Service for your state. The service will come out (free of charge) and flag or paint your grass pointing out the location of under ground utility lines on your property. This service however, does not include the service that runs into your house and it does not include cables such as Internet, cable television, satellite wiring, sprinkler systems, or any other wiring or special service you or previous owners have installed under ground on your property. If you have any wiring, cable, plumbing, or anything else underground on your property, please let us know. You may have to contact the individual service providers to mark where these items are buried on your property. We are not responsible for replacing any damaged items buried underground on your property that was not properly marked. Also, if you have children or pets, please don’t let them relocate the flags for us.
Know Your Property Line
It’s important that your fence is installed in your property line or it could become the property of your neighbor. When we help you layout and plan the location of your fence, we use property markers only. Often, the markers are metal rods that have been driven deep into the ground by the surveyor and have a portion of the rod showing above ground. Unfortunately, people sometimes drive these rods deeper into the ground where they are no longer visible or remove them completely. We will not install your fence if we cannot locate all the property markers. If we installed the fence without the markers, we would be doing you a disservice. If your property markers are not visible, we will try to help you locate them if you have a general idea of where they may be located. However, if we cannot find the markers, we recommend you contact a surveyor to mark your property line for you. You may incur an added expense, but it will save you from disputes with your neighbor or additional expenses with moving your fence.
Know Your Neighborhood Covenant
Before you make any decision about fencing, you should look to see if you have a covenant covering your property. Many neighborhoods have covenants that restrict fencing or dictate the type of fencing you can install. You can find the details of your covenant in your deed information. A copy of your deed should have been given to you with your other legal documents when you had the closing on your property. Please look at the document and be sure you follow the covenant information before you have the fence installed. Doing so, will help you avoid the expense of buying a fence and installing it only to have it removed.
Our Guarantee
Once Creative Fence Designs installs your fence, we guarantee you will have a professionally installed fence that is both functional and to the standards you requested. However, there are some things we cannot guarantee. For example, children and pets have brilliant minds and no matter the height or type of fence, they can still get out of the fence and wonder off.
Additionally, we cannot guarantee, nor will the manufacturer guarantee that your wood fence will not warp. The Southeast has hot summers and wet winters and these elements can cause warping.
Warranty
Creative Fence Designs, Inc. offers a one-year warranty on labor. Warranties on materials vary according to the product manufacturer. We cannot warranty, and the product manufacture will not warranty warping of wood products. The Southeast has hot summers and cold, wet winters and these elements can cause warping that is not covered under warranty.
